FAU College of Business Recladding

Jezerinac Group provided structural wind pressures and product control (NOA) consultation to the Architect of Record for the FAU College of Business Recladding.

Seeking improved moisture control, structural resiliency, and aesthetics, Florida Atlantic University embarked on a mission to replace significant portions of the 52,000 SF Business School’s façade including all of its doors, windows, and storefronts. Wind pressures were calculated for each individual opening using code required pressures calculated from the Florida Building Code referenced ASCE 7-10. Notices of Acceptance (NOA’s) were evaluated to determine their applicability to applied wind loads their attachment back to approved substrates.
