Andaz Hotel

Jezerinac Group is providing a structural condition assessment and structural design services for the Hyatt Andaz Hotel project in Miami Beach, Florida.

The exterior amenities encompass a range of structures, including a 7,200 SF terrace and promenade structure with a distinctive undulating curved outline, a single-story 800 SF pool bar, upper and lower pool decks totaling 7,000 SF, and the relocation of a historic 1930’s house to the southeast corner. Each structure requires careful consideration of materials and foundation systems, with potential retrofits to existing structural elements for seamless integration. Additionally, room renovations across 16 levels of the hotel involve intricate modifications to accommodate new MEP lines, while lobby modifications, including the installation of a new elevator and replacement of historical elements, further elevate the guest experience. Third-party restaurant modifications add to the complexity, with storefront relocation, stair enclosure, and lobby ramp demolition and relocation, all requiring precise coordination and structural solutions to meet project objectives while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Jezerinac Group is providing structural design, retrofitting, and coordination for various elements, considering existing conditions and potential retrofits with our client, Edge of Architecture.
