Jupiter Municipal Complex – Police & Emergency Operations Center

Structurally designed to protect and serve

THE PROJECT:  The Town of Jupiter embarked on a multi-phase initiative to significantly improve and expand its municipal complex. The project consists of the phased construction of a new Police and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) facility, a replacement of the existing Town Hall, and a potential expansion of the current recreation facility. The EOC serves to house police and town personnel before, during and after disasters and other significant events.

OUR SOLUTION:  Jezerinac Group served as Engineer of Record on the project, providing structural design services to the architect. The building’s structural system consists of a shallow foundation system along with a composite reinforced and precast concrete structural frame provisioned for the enhanced design wind velocities and impact resistance requirements of the Florida Building Code’s Building Risk Category III.
