119 Washington Avenue

Jezerinac Group is providing structural engineering services for 119 Washington Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida.

This mixed-use project consists of a vertical expansion of the current roof level of an existing 8 story, 87,000 SF, building structure in Miami Beach, FL. This consists of converting a major portion of the current roof level (Level 7) to new occupied space with terraces. The expansion will be a one-level addition with a new roof at Level 8. The work requires that existing structural elements be verified for compliance with the current building code. The structural scheme for new framing elements was designed to limit the impact of new loads on existing structural elements while also facilitating constructability on a constrained site.
