Ballpark of the Palm Beaches

Jezerinac Group provided structural consulting services for the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, FL.

The project consists of an 8,000-seat, 330,000 SF, state-of-the-art spring training complex for the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros. The project was constructed atop a man-made berm over a former landfill. The service level, concourse level, and lower seating bowl are an elaborate network of slabs-on-grade, retaining walls, and composite structural steel framing. The suite/press level is framed with deep HSS Sections and composite Epicore deck. The Stadium Canopy is framed with deep HSS Sections and a bare Epicore deck.

The project features a wrap-around concourse and engaging sightlines to increase the fan experience. Two 70,000 SF team clubhouses accommodate the individual and highly specific needs of both teams. The project was completed with our client, minimizing the necessary retrofits, thus diverting the budget to further facility upgrades. This project has been completed with our client Marc Taylor, Inc.
