LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort

THE PROJECT: The renovation project for the luxury LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort, located along the Naples, Florida beachfront, featured multiple structures. The project scope encompassed the restoration of a 15-story hotel, an elegant three-story beachfront hotel, and a parking garage.

Jezerinac Group provided a comprehensive conditions assessment and threshold inspections in addition to the renovation and restoration design and engineering scope.

THE SOLUTION:  Deterioration caused by long-term exposure to beachfront elements required significant post-tension reconstruction. The Jezerinac Group worked closely with the project team to determine best solution for replacing and/or strengthening structural elements including post-tension cables. Working together, the team delivered a solution for the beach and golf resort that equally balanced structural safety and integrity with cost effectiveness.
