Breathing new life into dated residential

THE PROJECT:  Located along the intracoastal waterway at Lake Boca Raton, this multi-family condominium complex was originally constructed in the late ‘90s. It was time for a modern update, which included renovation of the entire landscape, hardscape, entry and guardhouse. An architectural highlight features a beautiful glass atrium, serving as an elegant art gallery, which bridges the two-building complex.

OUR SOLUTION:  Being very familiar with this residential building type, we provided great value to the client in knowing what reinforcements and structural systems were best suited—this included reinforced concrete and post-tensioned floor systems.

With an eye on maximizing reusable systems and minimizing waste, we provided the Conceptual Design Study of the full property renovation—main entry, multiple secondary entries, exterior finish and fenestration, landscape and many interior common areas, such as lobby, club rooms, spa/fitness centers and meeting facilities. We worked with the architect to replace outdated slopes/curves with more modern, clean forms (square lines, nonobtrusive, black-banded architecture.) A true modernization of a dated yet sound structure.
